Generally, a garden office can be built under permitted development at the rear or side of the house. Which allows a buiilding of no more than 2.5m from highest point of the garden to the top of the roof, and within 2 meters of a boundary. Additionally, the garden room cannot cover more than 50% of your garden area, and it cannot be used for living or sleeping accommodation. For extensions this differs slighly. We have extensive knowledge and can advise on any queries.
